kevin->Anglicized form of the Irish name CaoimhĂn, derived from the older Irish Coemgen, composed of the Old Irish elements coem "kind, gentle, handsome" and gein "birth". Saint Caoimhin established a monastery in Ireland and is the patron saint of Dublin.

-Pretty much sums me up...

Steven = Usual English form of Stephen

Stephen = From the Greek name Stephanos which means "crown". Saint Stephen was an early Christian martyr who was stoned to death, as told in Acts in the New Testament. Another Saint Stephen is the patron saint of Hungary, the first Christian king of that country (10th century). As well, this was the name of kings of England, Serbia, and Poland and ten popes. More recently it is borne by the British physicist Stephen Hawking and the American author Stephen King.

Rachel = Lamb
We have plaques at our house with our names, their meanings and a Bible verse to go with them. Mine is Isaiah 40:11. "He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm and carry them in his bosom..."
