A friend is someone who encourages…someone who accepts you for you with all the faults included. A friend is someone truthful that will stand beside you when in time of need. A friend is someone who will sit with you when you ask to be alone (but don’t really want to be)

What is a friend? A textbook defination may tell us that a friend is one who you may know well and regard with affection a trust. I say is a true friend is something rare to most people.

A friend has the qualities of giving equal effort to the shared dynamic, while at many times putting you before themselves. A friend is somebody who is bluntly honest when necessary, yet never boastful they could have said "told you so."

A friend is someone who shares the news of salvation through Jesus Christ to you. It is the highest form of care and concern for another human being.

A friend works diligently to show you just how great you really are. You may feel they are pushing the limits, but they only want you to see the person they see as their friend.

Friends are not always perfect -- they may lack listening skills, be forgetful, sometimes say hurtful things. Such is life. However, a friend is someone who never does these acts with intention. They ask for forgiveness -- and give forgiveness when necessary.

This is what I feel makes a friend... a friend.
